KALEJI MASALA

I always use to think that why unhealthy food taste better than healthy food. Why I have to compromise on taste for health. But not now.. because today's recepie taste damn great and healthy too, so from now we don't always have to sacrifice flavour for nutrition....
                            Today I'm going to make to chicken kaleji  masala.  Chicken liver  is high in protein and rich store of folate which  is important for fertility, it's good for eyes ,skin ,bones and hair. It boost immune system, help to sharpen memory, and protect against anemia but food standard authority advised pregnant women not to eat kaleji because too much vitamin A can harm the baby.
                                      This recipe is one of the easiest that anyone can try...there is no marination and grinding needed. It can be prepared by any ready-made garam masala.
                       

Here is list of ingredients that we need  to make chicken kaleji masala-
 -chicken kaleji 250 gm
   -onion one big chopped
   - comic seed1/2 tsp
    -ginger garlic paste 1tsp    
    -chilli powder 2 tsp
    -turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
     - garam masala 1 tsp
     -coriander powder 1tsp
     - lemon half
     -salt according to taste
Last but not least fresh coriander for garnishing .
 So let's start..
    Wash chicken liver  thoroughly and drain water.
   Cut it into small pieces and mix ginger  garlic paste and squeeze lemon mix it well and keep aside.
     Heat oil, add the chopped onion and saute till it become brown then add kaleji mixture and saute for about 5 minute on high flame or till its colour get changes
    After that add coriander powder, chilli powder ,salt , turmeric  powder  and garam masala powder and cooked on low flame for another 5-6 minute.
    Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot. Give it a try I'm sure u like it.



KEEP IN MIND WHILE COOKING
These chicken kaleji bursts easily when comes in contact with hot oil and ofcourse flies every where . So be careful while cooking. You can pierce the skin of liver before marination and cook it on medium to slow flame with closed lid  to reduce explosiveness.
